If you're anything like me than lighting is the first thing you notice when you walk in to a room. It can make or break a space. One of the many reasons I love Victorian lampshades is the soft & romantic lighting they give off in tandem with being a handmade art piece that can be a beautiful addition to any room in your home. It's a great marriage of form and function. If you would like me to design a custom lampshade, here are a few things to know beforehand:

- I don't deviate from my style very often. If you commission me to make a shade it's because you like my other work and enjoy my overall aesthetic and style. That being said, I am more than happy to apply a particular color scheme you might have in mind and you'll be able to choose a shade frame style/size from a catalog that will be provided.

- I require a $200 deposit which covers the cost of supplies to make your lampshade. It’s very rare that I have all materials needed on hand to make custom shades. The deposit ensures that I can quickly purchase what is needed to get started as soon as possible and goes towards the final cost of the shade.

- I don't provide lamps bases with the lampshades. If you have a base that you would like a shade made specifically for, I can help you to choose a size and shape that will work well with your base.
